Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account: name, email, profile picture (from Google sign-in)
• App data you create: tasks, reminders, events, packages, subscriptions, AI chat messages
• Google data (if connected): read-only Calendar events and Gmail messages matching shipping keywords
• Payments: Stripe handles all card data; we never see or store payment card numbers

How we use it

Only to provide the Synq service: render your dashboard, run AI suggestions, sync with Google, charge subscriptions. We do not sell your data. We do not advertise.

Google API Services User Data Policy

Synq's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We only use Gmail and Calendar data to provide user-facing features (package tracking, schedule view). We do not transfer this data to others, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models.

AI processing

When you use the AI assistant, your message plus a snapshot of your current tasks/events/packages is sent to Anthropic Claude. Anthropic does not train on this data. Synq does not store the snapshot beyond your chat history.

Data retention

Your data is kept until you delete your account or disconnect Google. Disconnecting Google removes stored tokens immediately. Account deletion removes all your data within 30 days.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Google OAuth tokens are stored in our database with restricted access. Stripe handles all payment data per PCI-DSS.

Your rights

Request a copy of your data, correction, or deletion by emailing support@synq.app. EU/UK users have rights under GDPR; California residents under CCPA.
